One of Australia's leading design studios are looking for a seasoned Studio Manager to join their Melbourne team. Known for their work in the environmental space, you will be crucial in facilitating holistic projects that involve wayfinding and experience design in the living space. This studio is unlike no other and prides itself in an impressive client portfolio across the APAC region. Why is this role for you? No day is the same working on wayfinding projects for airports and public transport stations, to experience design in the living space. Work-life balance is crucial to us, fostering a culture that considers collaboration and honesty, integrity and clarity. Mental health days are valued in the studio. We understand that you might not be feeling 100% on certain days - take a break, we get it. Any studio politics is addressed immediately; we believe in open conversations and that working with other human beings under pressure can sometimes be frustrating. What will you be doing? Work closely with the directors on budgeting and forecasting projects on the pipeline. Oversee resourcing across the Melbourne and Sydney design teams. Liaise with design managers on overseeing the workflow (for up to 3-4 weeks in advance), running WIPs, daily standups and wall reviews. The successful candidate is mature, can keep up with the pace and is able to help manage demanding client expectations. Any experience in Briefcase will be highly looked upon, but not essential. In order to be considered for this role, you MUST have experience working in a design studio environment, whether it's branding, digital or wayfinding. Note: Only applicants with full Australian working rights will be considered for this role. Unfortunately, there is no visa sponsorship available for this position. firstname.lastname@example.org 03 8373 9600
