Account Director

As a key member of the team, you will be managing the media team and leading conversations, and owning planning and buying across the business.

The role's main focus is Media but also have the ability to cross-sell to the creative team and help win new pitches. You will be working on 10-15 campaigns in residential projects and 4-6 projects with developers mix of house, land & apartments in Sydney and SE QLD.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead Media Planner in Sydney office
  • Lead and manage publisher relationships
  • Negotiations and media buying
  • Media strategy and audience planning
  • Development of media schedule and recommendations (AM helps to build out schedule)
  • Overseeing performance and reporting across all campaigns and ensuring recommendations and optimisations are made
  • Client relationship mgmt.
  • This role works from the client office twice a week for 4 hrs
  • Also driving creative opportunities where possible – our current AD has won the creative for two of the projects we do the media for in this portfolio of clients
  • New business pitch support
  • Manage 1 Account Manager, work with 2 Performance Analysts across all projects

Requirements:
  • Experience leading PR conversations 
  • Negotiating media buying 
  • Stakeholder management essential  
  • Established relationships in the media industry 
  • Experience in property preferred but no essential
 
This role reports into our Business Director.
