They are seeking passionate Art Director experienced in creating intuitive concepts for physical retail, shopping centers, and pop-ups. Support Creative Director in developing retail campaigns across various mediums. Strong understanding of retailers' needs, collaboration with creative team, and strategic thinking required. Lead briefs, negotiate deadlines, and manage client expectations. Proficient in creative cloud suite, adept at presenting concepts to clients. Experience in digital interactivity, immersive technologies, and experiential design preferred.

Key Responsibilities

* Determine how best to represent a concept visually, keeping on brief and managing the ideation.

* Manage others in the creative team such as graphic designers, industrial designers, animators and finished artists. Championed engaging storytelling through end-to-end conceptualization.

* Review, approve and if necessary, amend designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other staff members.

* Liaise with clients in a collaborative and positive manner, managing expectations and listening closely to their objectives and requirements.

* Work with the studio manager, project manager and sales representative on budgets and timelines.

* Be comfortable in presenting designs and pitch concepts to clients for approval and discussion.

* Work closely with the creative team to provide mentorship and guidance, sharing knowledge and learnings while fostering independence and confidence.

* Proactively identify ways to optimise processes and implement learnings from projects to enhance workflow, reduce costs and improve creative outcomes across the group.

* Show an interest in latest design trends and developments in the retail landscape and consumer behaviours.

* You will present with experience in digital interactivity, immersive digital technologies, and/or working with digital in activations involving augmented or virtual reality.

* We would also love to see any experience you may have in experiential design across physical and digitalised environments, connecting the two channels.

Experience Qualifications and Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in a design related filed (although experience is more important)

* Proven working experience as Art Director in the retail space

* In-depth knowledge of retail environments

* Ability to quickly demonstrate an idea by a sketch or articulated mock up * Comfortable with a large volume of work

* An ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment

* Capable of prioritizing and juggling multiple projects to meet deadlines

* Excellent customer service, happy to deal directly with clients

* Quick response time to client emails with excellent communication skills

* Proven passion for excellent customer service, experience & journey

* Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with a friendly phone manner

* Excellent listening and question asking skills

* Able to understand our client's brands and offer them the best possible creative design to create cutting edge customer experiences

* Experience from Agency or Production role, with agency traffic or production or print knowledge
