Business Development Manager

This full service advertising and media agency is looking for a talented Business Development Manager who can operate effectively in a highly competitive landscape. Your key focus will be getting the brand in front of more customers, demonstrating value and winning new business and growing revenue.
  
Key to your success will be your ability to:
  
  • Proactively generating new leads across your target business categories
  • Utilising all channels of communication to reach potential customers – phone, email, LinkedIn, event attendance etc
  • Meeting potential customers face to face and prioritising this
  • Create comprehensive briefs for the media team to convert into proposals
  • Build a consistent flow of new business revenue in line with agreed monthly targets
  • Log everything accurately in the CRM
  
You will be able to clearly articulate value and be able to position the agency as a compelling solution.  You will be adept at uncovering business needs and demonstrate how the agency can solve those issues.  Networking will come naturally to you and you will not be phased by the word ‘no’.  You will be able to manage the sale funnel from outreach to close and have the ability, passion and confidence to take a lead from discovery to conversion. It is vital you have previous experience in a business development role and have the confident to talk to C level and Heads of Marketing.  Experience in advertising/media/marketing will be highly regarded but not essential.  More essential than industry experience will be your passion, energy and will to succeed.
