The company is in a leading position with the combination of its robust tech stack, innovation, proprietary data, and a well-established footprint in the APAC market. Paired with your strategic solution-selling approach, sound technical understanding, and prior sales experience and direct networks, you will hit the ground running to deliver growth quickly in this newly created commercial role.
The company and sales team are expanding and there is a massive opportunity for the right person to build off the back of the companies’ existing national and international networks, and with the support of a dedicated BDM below.
You will develop partnerships at the C levels with the biggest brands across ANZ, running a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. While you will have the product training and resources of a global SaaS, as well as the support of internal teams, the company operates as a lean start-up. Thus, the ideal candidate will be collaborative yet independent, entrepreneurial, and resilient.
-New business development with enterprise brands direct following a proven strategic sales methodology; from prospecting to pipelining, presenting, pitching, negotiating and closing.
-Knowledge of key client verticals - Finance, eCommerce, Retail, Travel, and Automotive, and understanding of different marketing, advertising and commercial models from the brand perspective and how they connect to their audiences.
-Communicating the company platform proposition and customising from a range of tech solutions to support the client’s large scale omni-channel marketing and advertising strategies.
-Further developing the company's sales strategy and account plans in partnership with other division heads (Product, Tech, Accounts) to deliver best-in-market tech proposals.
-Revenue delivery against quarterly and annual targets, forecasting and tracking on Salesforce.
-Education on platform and products and evangelism of company’s vision.
-Continually staying abreast of industry developments in MarTech/AdTech
-Training and mentoring of the BDM support in lead generation, marketing mapping, qualifying, meeting setting, presentations, etc.
-5-10+ years SaaS sales experience and proven success in generating new business with global and national enterprise brands at the senior C-level, preferably with networks coming in.
-Digital, marketing and advertising tech savvy highly preferred.
-Confident selling a high-impact solution and innovative and adaptive products.
-Ability to think fast on your feet, adapt commercial models to suit new industries, and a consultative strategic long-term solution sales approach.
-Ability to work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, and navigate prospect's ecosystems and structures quickly.
-Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills to manage relationships and achieve outcomes.
-Proactive, emotionally intelligent, energetic, collaborative, independent and has natural gravitas and credibility.
