Full Stack Engineer

Senior Full Stack Developer – located in Sydney. 

We're looking for a mid or senior Full Stack Developer to join an amazing client working on a diverse range of projects. You'll have experience building and deploying web apps/services and are passionate about solving complex problems. You also enjoy being surrounded by talented developers, learning from others, and contributing to their development. You understand the concept of technical excellence while appreciating the reality of budgets and hard-to-change timelines.

What you'll do: 
  • Work as a pivotal member of the Web team to improve existing APIs and web services
  • Assist the Web team leader in identifying and resolving improvements to processes, workflow and pipelines
  • Collaborate with the real-time development team to deliver world-class WebGL and real-time rendered applications
We anticipate to excel in this role with the following technical experience:
  • Python, NodeJS & Javascript (ES5/ES6), Typescript
  • Working with Cloud platforms
  • Linux Bash 
  • CI/CD (Jenkins) 
  • Git/ Bitbucket
  • SQL
  • NoSQL
It would be great if you had, but not essential:
  • A tertiary qualification in computer science
  • AWS certification (hands-on exposure to AWS specific services highly desired)
  • Experience working with Jira
  • Experience working with Perforce / SVN or any other server-side repository versioning system.
  • Experience with React/Webpack 
  • Experience setting up or driving Infrastructure as Code solutions on cloud platforms.
