The Position

Become Recruitment is working with a reknown and exciting independent communications agency. We're looking for a mid-weight Copywriter with strong digital skills to join the team. You'll be working with a diverse range of industries, including telecoms, travel, automotive, energy, resources, and health insurance with the goal of driving greater commercial success for clients through evidence-based creativity that's better, faster, and smarter.

As a Midweight Copywriter you will form a team with an Art Director and will be responsible for creating creative, compelling, informative and engaging content across all marketing channels. You will work closely together to craft messages that resonate with broad target audience and capture the essence of the our clients and brands.You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a high degree of digital competency across display and social channels. Attention to detail is a must, as well as the ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams, both internal and external. Youwill have a solid background as a Writer in a collaborative creative environment and are able to hit the ground running in a team that produce the highest industry quality work with great efficiency, reputation and intellect. You will be well-versed in intercepting and interpreting stakeholder needs, communications and briefs, and translating them into highly exceptional creative output with a creative edge, passion and convincing approach. You will be well supported in your position, flanked by seasoned industry professionals who are driven and passionate, with excellent scope to learn and develop your skills and career pathways.

About you

  • Broadly experienced at a similar style of agency, working through-the-line large scale campaigns.
  • Strong retail experience and comprehension.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field/ AWARD school will be held in high regard.
  • Positivity, energy and enthusiasm for your work and your peers.
  • Highly organised.
  • Adobe Cloud & Figma skills would be handy.
  • A portfolio of your previous work is strongly recommended.
