We’re seeking an organised people-person to support our busy recruiters in an office management position. Working out of a vibrant co-working space in Ponsonby, you’ll be part of a close-knit team and involved in the wider office community with opportunities for networking with Become’s global offices, and your co-working neighbours. Free coffee, arcade machine, and ping-pong tables are just the icing on the cake.

Who are you?
Ideally, you’ve got an interest or experience in the creative/digital industries, and a background in recruitment administration. However, we’ve got a strong history of hiring people without recruitment experience, and training them up. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a great sense of humour.
 
You’ll have an advantage if you:
  • Have experience in client facing, admin, or PA roles
  • Have an interest in the creative, digital, or advertising industries
  • Are outgoing and eager to get involved
Most importantly, you’ll be a highly organised team player, with confident communication skills who is keen and enthusiastic to pick up new skills and develop them with us. People skills and attitude are important to us, it’s not just about where you’ve worked.
 
What will you be doing?
Day to day, you’ll be supporting the office’s consultants and ensuring the smooth operation of administrative systems. This includes:
  • Answering phones and emails
  • Diary organisation and scheduling meetings
  • Screening, interviewing, and reference-checking
  • Sourcing client and candidate leads
  • Maintaining the database of clients/candidates
  • Writing job advertisements  
There’s potential for this role to progress to a consultant position for the right candidate who wants to make that step into recruitment in time.
