About the role:
As a Media Buyer in the Melbourne office you’ll be tasked with managing an existing portfolio of property client’s media needs, being able to work collaboratively and at times autonomously to get work done. You’ll need to be ready to work with the account service team to respond to client briefs with strategic media schedules mainly across digital and print.
You’ll have worked with publishers and media reps to deliver campaigns before, with a good grasp of the audience and rates for each - negotiating for the best deal for clients where possible.
You’ll be supported by a media coordinator and sometimes a media executive as you liaise with some clients directly, helping to coordinate monthly meetings for updates on campaigns and getting approval on optimisations and spend based on data, which will run on time and on budget as you manage these direct reports.
You’ve worked in media agencies or as a media buyer for an integrated agency for at least two years.
Organised and able to manage competing priorities, you’ll be client facing so need to be able to present to clients too.
Experience working with property accounts, working in the property industry or a strong interest in property would be looked upon favourably.
You’ll be able to work across borders, engaging with team members both in Melbourne and interstate.
You must be in Australia as the client is unable to offer sponsorship at this time.
