Social Media Manager

This exciting new startup is disrupting the online retail space in their niche and is poised to make a massive impact in Australia.
  
They are looking for a Social Media and Content Manager who can build the strategy from the ground up and be a key contributor to company growth and success.  This is their first hire in this space so there is the potential to grow a team beneath you as the company scales. 
  
The key purpose of the role is to grow, build and manage communities across the digital ecosystem and really bring the brand to life, creating customer loyalty through the delivery of highly engaging, innovative and relatable content. 
  
This is a hands on role in a fast paced, exhilarating environment in which you will be:
  • Developing, managing and implementing the social media strategy across all platforms
  • Building, growing and nurturing online communities
  • Bringing the brand to life and capturing the essence of the brand
  • Contributing to paid, owned and earned
  • Managing and effectively utilising the analytics, online assets and platforms
  • Building solid relationships both internally and externally and closely collaborating across the business
  
To be successful in this role you will be a highly experienced Social Media and Content specialist with proven experience in building brands and customer experience and you will be able to provide solid examples of growth and engagement.  

You will have at least several years’ experience managing platforms day-to-day including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok, be passionate about what you do and be across all the latest trends in the social space.  You will have a strong working knowledge of deploying social media through SproutSocial or similar. In addition to excellent communication skills, you will have a natural creative flare with the ability to write engaging, relevant and interesting content across blogs and other forums.  Experience in online retail, eCommerce will be highly regarded.
