Become are seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator for our client, a market-leading production agency. They have a passionate and collaborative team that works with major automotive clients on large-scale digital projects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the development & installation of systems
  • Training the engineering team on new systems, protocols and best practices
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and evolving effective solutions
  • Preparing network analytics, data reports, and operational manuals
  • Analysing network data and infrastructure to determine inefficiencies and problems
  • Developing and designing network architecture and computer systems infrastructure
  • Monitoring computer systems and networks for viruses, malfunctions, and errors

Essential criteria:

  • At least 3 years' experience as a Systems Administrator
  • Confident in executing strong leadership and communication skills
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows/Server, OSX, Linux
  • Windows Server Active Directory and Group Policy Family (DNS, DHCP, Radius)
  • WIFI AP configuration
  • Perforce, Jenkins, Deadline configuration and administration
  • VMware infrastructure knowledge and configuration.
  • Storage administration of Dell EMC Isilon systems or similar enterprise storage systems.
  • Top-level administration of layer 3 switches (Cisco) and general networking knowledge.

Desirable criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or similar field
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification
  • Experience with database management software, such as MySQL PostgreSQL
  • Scripting skills with knowledge of programming languages Python and Bash, Windows Batch scripting for scheduled tasks
  • Perforce, Jenkins, Deadline configuration and administration
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP, UDP, and IP, VPN and PCOIP knowledge.
  • Jamf (OSX+iOS), MDM and Apple troubleshooting; Windows MDM using PDQ; Linux MDM using Ansible
