Front - End Developer

Become is seeking a mid-level – senior Frontend Developer for a permanent opportunity with my client in the AgTech industry. This is an opportunity to join a stable company that has seen consistent growth throughout the last two years and will provide you with flexibility, an experienced & established team, and fantastic learning & development opportunities including an annual training budget.  This is a real opportunity to work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between design and technical implementation.  Main responsibilities: Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application and maintain existing interface designs Develop new user-facing features following defined development methodologies, standards, and convention. Build reusable code and libraries for future use. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders on key development projects. Key experience and skillset: Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3. Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS. Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks eg. Angular or Vue Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them. Experience with HubSpot and any server-side coding e.g. C#, would be highly desirable. Experience with mobile app development is highly desirable.
