Full-stack (WordPress) Web Developer Looking for a change? We have a number of Web Dev roles available In Melbourne. We are seeking skilled WordPress, Shopify Web developers that are able to work as Full-stack developers. Looking for individuals with 2-3 years of experience working as a Full Stack developer, with strong WordPress experience. this role would also suit someone that has a strong Front-end dev skill set. Highlights of the position Be part of a great creative team in a mid-sized, studio; and enjoy a strong team culture and support. Our clients are looking at a strong 2022, with good growth. Be a part of a strong vision and team. Responsibilities: Using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to implement the visual design for websites and web apps. We work with a range of CMS/s (WordPress, Shopify) or will usually be working within a framework or theming system; Implementing designs using a mobile-first approach to create pleasant experiences on smartphones, tablets, and desktops; Using front-end style guides and pattern libraries; Ensuring good user experience design in all work you produce; Writing W3C accessible code; Dealing with clients on a day-to-day basis, and supporting existing websites and web apps via our Support channels i.e. The ability to jump into various different code bases that you did not write and clearly and easily navigate through them. Essential Skills: Writing semantic & accessible HTML5 markup; Experience designing, marking up, and styling page templates in a CMS (such as WordPress or Shopify) without the need for page builders i.e. Elementor or Divi; Experience with the mobile-first approach to front-end development; Experience with preprocessors such as Less and Sass; Working with Git version control; Working side-by-side with a design and UX team; Working within = WordPress Gutenberg or Shopify Online Store 2.0 experiences; Curiosity and passion about producing cool web experiences for users; and Experience working with build tools such as Gulp, Grunt, Bower, Webpack.
