Things to know before referring an effective candidate
Say yes only to referrals you support: If you’re not confident to refer someone for a job, it is probably better to let them know that they’re not a good fit.
Refer to the job description: Before referring someone for any job role, the best idea is to go through the Job description on our available jobsand see if it correctly fits the candidate's profile.
Work Ethic: Are they someone who has a strong work ethic or are they seeking out working for you as just another line on a resume? If they have a strong work ethic, this will help them to grow professionally alongside the company. This is a win-win for all.
Passion: When referring someone to work you should look for a person that has a passion for what the company does.
Seeking a Challenge: Being willing to learn new things and seeking a challenge often go hand in hand. When someone works for a new employer, there are new challenges that come with it. From adapting to new co-workers and business processes to a fresh set of goals, it matters.
Terms and Conditions for Become Referral Program:
Referee will receive $250 voucher if we get a candidate in a freelance booking and $1,000 if we place the candidate in a permanent role!
Freelance candidates must stay in the role for 4 weeks minimum to redeem vouchers.
Candidate must remain in the permanent role for 3 months to redeem the voucher and the candidate must be a new candidate to Become.
New candidate must state the name of the Referee at the time of sending the CV.
Business opportunity: $500 voucher! This is deemed to be a new client to Become, and a placement order is successfully filled by us.
