Our client is looking for a Mid / Snr Copywriter who will be a key member of the creative team and be responsible for providing creative direction and ultimately creating marketing communications that bring our clients brand to life by producing original and captivating copy.

This role works closely with the Digital, Social and wider Marketing teams to produce content that shares the story and promotes brand messages across various streams including web, eDM, videos, print, brand campaigns, partnerships and more.

This hands-on role requires someone who has a sense of fearless creativity and a desire to inspire a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead ideation and contribution to new campaign ideas
  • Craft effective campaign copy across various touchpoints
  • Establish the tone and positioning for brand activities with Head of Brand, Head of Partnerships & Promotions and Brand Managers
  • Produce engaging, on-brand copy that drives customer engagement and delivers commercial objectives through all consumer facing touchpoints
  • Proofreading and editing support as required to other departments
  • Ensuring compliance with copyright legislation across all touchpoints
  • Undertake research internally to tell our clients story and pull back the curtain to give greater insight into the brand and its history
  • Articulate copy / stories POV from brief that helps shape the brand
  • Collaborate with our clients founder, internal team members and external partners (including but not limited to suppliers + brand partners) to build compelling, meaningful and on brand copy, stories and content solutions
  • Champion the brand voice within the business
  • Tone and Brand voice work; support the business in delivering and maintaining up to date and relevant voice guide and brand work when required
  • Lead and ensure cross-functional content activities are developed and delivered to achieve identified targets and timeframes
  • Work with other departments to generate content that delivers on objectives whilst driving the brand and using the brand 'voice'
  • Lead and develop other members of the team's understanding of delivering best-in-class copy & content outputs
  • Project manage content projects and ongoing copy & content requirements; including but not limited to content hubs on the website
  • Identify and implement innovative, creative solutions to continuously improve brand engagement across all departments in the company

About you:

  • 5+ years' copywriting experience in an advertising agency or similar creative workplace
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to lead others to an outcome
  • Proficient with relevant platforms (Google Docs, Monday.com, Slack, MS Office)
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to deliver initiatives through collaboration with others
  • Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that supports the brand
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • New media proficiency
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills that adapt to brand voice
  • Sociable & outgoing
