As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Design Director to join their innovative team.

About the job

As the Design Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading the creative team and shaping the agency's design vision. You will oversee projects from concept to execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs that align with clients' brand identities and objectives. Your leadership, creativity, and strategic thinking will drive the team to produce outstanding work in the FMCG packaging sector.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Oversee the design process for all projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and agency standards.
  • Develop and present design concepts and strategies to clients, guiding them through the creative process.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative design solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as account management and production, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a design role, with a focus on FMCG packaging.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring design teams.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design work in FMCG packaging.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
