My client is a global technology company that powers the world's marketers and media owners with trusted and impactful advertising through their world-leading Commerce Media Platform.

The Role:

As Sales Manager in the New Business team, you will be in charge of securing agency media buys for the company Marketing Solutions products. Whilst focusing on driving revenue from an agency portfolio you must be highly effective in navigating all facets of the sales process; from prospecting to understanding media buying cycles, and through to closing business. We are looking for someone with an extensive media agency network who has experience in nurturing and building those deep relationships with the holding groups.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prospect, evaluate, on-board, and support advertisers and advertising agencies in Australia.
  • Lead the media business in Victoria and South Australia.
  • Pursue both individual and team sales goals.
  • Share your best practices and benefit from those of your colleagues.
  • Develop agency relationships at all levels, from planners, and buyers to account leads.
  • Work closely with the technical team to launch campaigns.
  • Closely track industry and product trends to stay at the top of your game.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven sales and client service track record, ideally in a tech-related field.
  • Experience working with media agencies.
  • Comprehensive sales cycle experience from discovery to prospecting to sign-on.
  • Knowledge & past experience using CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Ability to work and deliver strong results in a dynamic environment.
  • Passion for new media, internet trends, and continual learning.
  • Digital advertising-related industry background is a big plus.
  • 4+ years of Digital/Ad-Tech sales.
  • Disciplined self-starter who is able to work autonomously.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiating, and closing skills; working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
