My client is an award-winning Sydney PR agency that specialises in Luxury, Destination (Hotels and Travel), beauty and premium automotive clients. The brands are big and the work they do is noticed by many. These guys are really proud of the culture in the Sydney office and are looking to expand this into the Melbourne market.
About the Role
This agency is looking for an Account Director to be the first person on the ground here in Melbourne and work with two existing clients (both luxury hotel chains) and help to build out the team!
This role will see you working across events, social and of course media liaison along with working on expanding the footprint of the business in Melbourne. As such, existing media networks in Melbourne along with experience with hospitality and F&B clients would be advantageous.
About You:
An Experienced Comms Professional, currently working in a small to medium sized agency or brand, you’ll be the account lead working with medium to large businesses. Equal parts business leader, strategic thinkg, creative problem solver and master of comms planning and management.
You’ll be comfortable with some people management and know what you need to delegate and when, but also are comfortable jumping on the tools with the day-to-day management of accounts.
You’ll be supported by a team of four in Sydney and don’t need the buzz of a studio to get your work done – working remotely, that buzz will be just an instant message or call away.
Pitching for business and growth will be a key part of this role, you’ll have direct access to the Partners as you’ll make your mark as a senior member of the team. Bring your ideas and creative flair to the table please!
