We are currently on the lookout for a Technical Consultant to join a Global player that's a PLM system within the FMCG sector.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cutting-Edge Challenges: Engage in gap analysis, solution mapping, and PLM system configurations, utilizing tools like Expressions, XML, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

  • Data Dynamics: Lead pre-go live data load and data import tasks for the PLM system.

  • Integration Expertise: Collaborate with our team to document system integration, working closely with our customers to resolve integration issues between the PLM system and their systems, including ERP.

  • On-the-Job Training: As part of our comprehensive onboarding process, we provide hands-on training to set you up for success.

About You (The Must-Have's)

  • Academic Excellence: Hold a degree in a Computing-related discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or similar fields. A degree in Business Systems is also acceptable.

  • Modeling Mastery: Proficiency in system modeling, such as UML, is a strong advantage.

  • Project Management Prowess: While not mandatory, having a Project Management certification is desirable.

  • Communication Skills: Display the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences in English, Cantonese, and, if possible, Mandarin.

Experience Requirements

  • Industry Know-How: Accumulate 3+ years of professional experience, ideally in a consulting role with a customer-facing focus.

  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with sectors such as Apparel, Footwear, Fashion, Retail, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, or Beauty is a valuable asset.

  • Tech-Savvy: Possess experience in system implementation, an understanding of Agile deployment methodologies, and a grasp of infrastructure and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS).

  • PLM Proficiency: Any prior experience with Product Life Cycle (PLM) is a significant advantage.

  • Modeling Mastery: Be comfortable with system modeling, including UML, for use case analysis, solution mapping, and design.

  • Technical Skills: Demonstrate technical expertise in software package configurations, including pseudo-code/regular expression, XML, JavaScript/Typescript, SQL (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL), and optionally REST API.

  • Continuous Learner: Exhibit a technical aptitude, a passion for self-learning, and the drive to continuously enhance your technical skills.
